Next Council Meeting August 1st-Highlights of last meeting
At the meeting of July 4, 2011, Georges Dinel, mayor, would not comment on the many changes of staff (a total of 18) and the arrival of a fourth general manager in just two years.
He promised that the study on the merger of the library will be presented to the library committee before a decision is made. He later said in a phone conversation with Cynthia Dubé no decision would be taken before September.
He announced that he would make a public information session regarding the transaction of land along the Outaouais River with the MRC d’Argenteuil, which unfortunately has not been publicized in newspapers. For those who have not had the opportunity to attend, see the report on our blog by clicking here.
Despite his promise to provide funding for the flowers our committee and citizens planted in the city, he still could not tell us how much we would receive.
A confidential offer was made on the house called Roussell, which is of a commercial nature.
The next council meeting will be held tonight, Monday, August the 1st, 7:00 pm at the Community Centre Hall-Louis Renaud, 270 Canton Road, in the Saint-Philippe sector.
